Chicago!The Killing fields revisited…

It does not take a lot of schooling to understand that killing is out of control in Chicago. This issue has been going on for a long time. Ya know, maybe since Emmanuel got the Mayoral bid under his belt. Gang violence, lots of guns, lack of adequate medical facilities in the West and South sides.

Sounds to me like the above mentioned characteristics are right out of the Democratic play book. The longer these issues resound, the more taxes pouring in that can be squandered, adding to the financial mess that the City and State endure. The issues of a quasi-genicide bolster that liberal mind set and give a whole lot of politicians something to talk about. Yeah, talk…

That movie, “Escape from New York” comes to mind. But that will never be a reality as Democrats ain’t real big on walls. How about the Nat’l Guard? The papers talk about lots of gang violence. If I am not mistaken, gangs are groups of people, a bit easier to spot than a lone assailant. That’s right, groups, like in Congress with the gang warfare there. What did they call it? The gang of 9, 10, Don’t remember the number but that aside, gangs are a part of the political landscape. Having gone on for a long time, Chicago surely enjoys the mother lode of violence.

An election coming soon for Mayor. What you wanna bet that Mr. Emmanuel will be re-elected and having run on the line of curtailing the violence in the city, will put it out there the need for more tax dollars to quell the killing fields. Now I have not seen a lot about getting some new gun laws whipped up. That really will be the answer. Not that the State of Illinois is lacking in that area. Maybe, it could get approval in the next Mayoral election to get the ball rolling on a new storage facility to store all the gun laws, present and those to come…

Probably the best course of action is for the residents to pack their stuff and move elsewhere. The landscape is not gonna change. I suppose that Trumps offer to involve the Feds did not go very far. How about somebody like Elliot Ness to get the ball rolling. For whatever is the end goal, politics is standing in the way of fixing this.

Now I did read that 300 new Detectives were gonna be hired before the end of the year. So odd, I thought the City and State were broke. We all have heard that song and saw the accompanying dance. Just a sad situation for the innocent people that are the victims of political failure. This is gonna get fixed just like the homeless problems in San Francisco and Seattle.

Not gonna happen
