Chicago!The Killing fields revisited…

It does not take a lot of schooling to understand that killing is out of control in Chicago. This issue has been going on for a long time. Ya know, maybe since Emmanuel got the Mayoral bid under his belt. Gang violence, lots of guns, lack of adequate medical facilities in the West and South sides.

Sounds to me like the above mentioned characteristics are right out of the Democratic play book. The longer these issues resound, the more taxes pouring in that can be squandered, adding to the financial mess that the City and State endure. The issues of a quasi-genicide bolster that liberal mind set and give a whole lot of politicians something to talk about. Yeah, talk…

That movie, “Escape from New York” comes to mind. But that will never be a reality as Democrats ain’t real big on walls. How about the Nat’l Guard? The papers talk about lots of gang violence. If I am not mistaken, gangs are groups of people, a bit easier to spot than a lone assailant. That’s right, groups, like in Congress with the gang warfare there. What did they call it? The gang of 9, 10, Don’t remember the number but that aside, gangs are a part of the political landscape. Having gone on for a long time, Chicago surely enjoys the mother lode of violence.

An election coming soon for Mayor. What you wanna bet that Mr. Emmanuel will be re-elected and having run on the line of curtailing the violence in the city, will put it out there the need for more tax dollars to quell the killing fields. Now I have not seen a lot about getting some new gun laws whipped up. That really will be the answer. Not that the State of Illinois is lacking in that area. Maybe, it could get approval in the next Mayoral election to get the ball rolling on a new storage facility to store all the gun laws, present and those to come…

Probably the best course of action is for the residents to pack their stuff and move elsewhere. The landscape is not gonna change. I suppose that Trumps offer to involve the Feds did not go very far. How about somebody like Elliot Ness to get the ball rolling. For whatever is the end goal, politics is standing in the way of fixing this.

Now I did read that 300 new Detectives were gonna be hired before the end of the year. So odd, I thought the City and State were broke. We all have heard that song and saw the accompanying dance. Just a sad situation for the innocent people that are the victims of political failure. This is gonna get fixed just like the homeless problems in San Francisco and Seattle.

Not gonna happen

Gun laws for Criminals

For the most part, many of us know that there are plenty of laws to go around. Many are for selective purposes. If a situation is this, we will use that law and so on. When it comes to gun laws, my opinion is that those laws are written to keep honest people honest. Looking at all the killings, murder and senseless taking of lives, most are committed by non-conforming individuals. Now as far as I can tell, there ain’t too many laws that cover all that. Rahm Emmanuel and the gang in Chicago are good with all the killing over there. If they weren’t then they would stop the killing. Reading the news, old Rahm blames all of the killing on the people. Says that the people need to do this or that. Last I looked, all of the taxes are to support agencies to make people safe and comfortable. As for the many other random killing like the one in Jacksonville, obviously there ought to be laws for those violators.

If laws were written to effect natural born criminals, maybe things would change. 30 years on death row, cake walk. And not to forget that all crimes are “Alleged”. 10 people can witness a person killing someone and then law enforcement has the nerve to say that they have no idea as to whom committed the crime. It is a mystery, we will just put an “Alleged” tag on it and then waste tax payer money trying to find the real killer.

Hearing Police leaders speaking about how the cops on the job are the finest, most highly trained people on the force today. Then in the next sentence people are being solicited for information leading to the apprehension of a law breaker. How does that work? These smartest cops just need to spill the beans and go grab the perpetrators. After all, they are the finest and the smartest.

Sometimes I just shake my head. No matter how much money the taxpayers throw at the system, nothing changes. Maybe just a few laws pointed at the criminals. You know, like Public hangings and placement of those heads on spits in the public squares. That would get peoples attention and maybe act as a deterrent. Just maybe…

Another Public Killing… Damned gun laws

As I peruse the news daily, it never seems to miss a beat that someone or a group of someones got killed. Nasty ingrates toting guns. What just might fill the bill is to have a new law that bans killers from possessing those dirty deed dealing firearms. Hell, there are a plethora of laws for the abiding citizenry, prolly enough to wallpaper Washington D.C..

The latest one at YouTube, probably could have been prevented if Wacko Vegan Liberals were not allowed to possess guns when killing people. Is that really so far out of step to be impossible.

Not too many people really give a hoot. Now it makes good press when somebody’s brain takes a liking to whacking an individual or a group. Hell News at Eleven, On Scene!

Cops get to be a part of that action too. Damn, if people really want to do this killing, they need to join a local police force and do it legally. Now if it is illegal for whacked out individuals to carry guns, joining up with the local John Law might be the perfect solution.

Takes me back to that cop in Houston that shot dead, a man in a wheel chair. Now give him some credit, he was scared. Times is hard. I believe that the Mayor at the time, applauded the killing and rewarded the cop with an “atta boy”! Public service took a twist somewhere.

Common sense need not apply!

Arctic Chill prime fodder for Wimps

Imagine that feeling of waking up, start the day and realize that temps are 40 degrees below the “Weather Channel” norm. Oh god, this is bad. Flip on morning news, sit huddled in your favorite broken easy chair, breathlessly awaiting the local weather…

Finally the weather comes on, there is a hot looking babe dressed in her favorite cold weather gear; Boots to her ass, glimmers of leotards and a woolen looking dress. Don’t forget the hat…

Total doom for the northeast, temps gonna be in the low zeros and the anticipated death toll looms. Maryland is gonna be brought to a halt, Philly gonna need more politicians, DC, well don’t think they need much more as so much already there. Further north, Jersey and the Boroughs looking at total annihilation. Head up into the Old England states to find the land that civilization forgot.

No time better than now to lobby for reparations.

Well, in all of this, where is the concern for Western states. Might get a brief mention but don’t wanna piss no one off. No sir, not nobody not no how… LOL

It seems to me that all the hype is focused on the inhabitants of those overcrowded North Eastern voting districts. When cold hits here, I bump up the heat, break out the electric blankey and carry on as if not much has changed. Key is to avoid weather channel and GMA. Besides, who really cares other than those dependent on ratings and any method of achieving high numbers…

And Two… Back to reality!

Birthing of an Acronym. Shall I call it “NTT”?

In recent news, Our illustrious President, voted into office by majorities in two different cycles, and the highly educated and prescient U.S. Attorney tag teamed to support a gender-neutral society. For a man holding such a prestigious position in National politics, it seems petty to interfere with States responsibilities and rights from a bully pulpit.

Is this nothing more than an individual in search of a legacy. Grasping wildly, gasping for a breath while cascading downward in most every direction he attempts to pursue. To push our American society towards Gender-Neutrality seems to be absurd. This brings me to the new acronym to be “Non Titled Thing”. All I can come up with is questions to this subject. Our Children are confused enough with this out of control societal evolution that so many adults are perpetrating on the youngest of generations.

Gender-Neutrality as a desire from the highest reaches of our Republic can only bring about more debt and utter destruction of the most important fabrics of our society. Imagine our Government dictating mandatory Sex Change requirements for achieving a unilateral Gender. Health entitlements via the Affordable Care Act to enact such brutal transformation of Society. This is where Liberalism takes us. Kind of like the perfect society that the wonderful National Socialist, Hitler was hell bent to create.

I shutter to vision these pursuits of an out-of-control political leader. How will this bring about change to religion, and social attitude. I imagine riots and social unrest at a level not ever experienced in this country. Liberals supposedly do everything for the kids, wow, what an innocent lot to poison. But with continued indoctrination from the Public Schools System, almost anything is achievable.

Erasure of the Male and Female from our society seems a bit strenuous. Might as well tag along with a Race-Neutral platform just the same. It surely would make job applications much easier to endure. Several different movements would end up stuck in the mud. He did say on numerous occasion that his goal is to fundamentally change America.

This rhetoric is surely apt to change something… NTT

Take a moment to smell the Roses…

Over the years, I have been aware of an old saying “Third time is a charm” and one other being “Things happen in threes”.

This past week, I had three different occurrences of fragrant smells that were full of nostalgia. The first was while driving on the highway and I got a strong whiff of food cooking at a restaurant. Now for me, this is significant as having passed many restaurants and food places over the years, never peaked my interest. Well, this time, I flashed vivid memory of marching to the galley while in boot camp many years ago. Over a period of 8 weeks, I got to being real familiar with that particular smell. Most significant are the memories.

The second smell was from a shipping container that I opened at work. These containers are the type that we commonly see being drug down the highways on semi’s and piled high and wide on trans-ocean cargo ships. This smell brought back the main hallway of a Catholic school that I used to attend, also many years ago. Must have been the wood used on the floor of the container. I saw old faces and surroundings that have long since gone by the wayside. Memories of course, not to appear as having a broken brain. Such cool stuff…

The third was while driving in a rural area with a few houses here and there and not much else. I got a strong smell of something that reminded me of paint that my dad was using as he painted a room many years ago. It was refreshing to get that memory as my Dad has been gone since 1973. I even remembered the color as being a kind of mint green. Wow, how the time has floated right on by.

My point here if one is needed, is that most of us experience triggers to long past memories. Now if someone is without a brain, just forget about reading this blog. Taking the time to associate a familiar fragrance with an experience from days gone by can easily turn a drab “nothing is new” kind of day into something refreshing.

Although I have been smelling fragrant honeysuckles all over the place, still have not got the vibe of Roses. Keep my chin up and take it as it comes…

Where to begin, what direction!!!

Choosing something new, something fresh. So much individualism in an ether which is infinite, or so maybe it only seems. This is my first of whatever comes to mind directed to no end of immediate consequence…

I saw that Gary Condit is back in the news again. Just before the NY attack, I recall vividly that Condit was scurrying to cover up the death of Chandra Levy. The whole deal seemed to take a back seat in the media and disappear after the destruction of the Twin Towers. I was in line at WalMart this evening and saw his name on the front of a rag magazine. Wow, to see this back in the news, although not cool that a woman was killed, but to see that Mr. Condit is reaping the rewards of possible involvement.

And the man that has already been serving time for the murder, working to get another trial to exonerate him because of his innocence. Now who in their right mind would think that a California Congressman would ever have been involved in shady wrongdoing. Better yet, who would doubt it?

Nonetheless, this kicks off my episode of blogging. Happy Trails
